Herman, along with enthusiastic colleagues, provides survival day camps for kids. His passion is around teaching children to play safely in nature with things that may at first seem a little scary, but don't have to be.
His experience and expertise come from many years in both the Dutch Marine Corps and the Commandos. Among other adventures, he's been hot in the Dutch Antilles, Beliz and Martinique; and cold and wet in Scotland and Norway. Currently, he is a fireman and rescue diver with the dutch fire service.
(And he likes to watch Bear Grylls on National Geographic too!)

Our first ASA Ardennes Adventure Weekend !! What a blast....

It was truly a glorious weekend - the sun was shining and the mud was ready for the mountainbikes, canyoning and quads! Thanks to all our adventurous first timers and looking forward to the next one already in Spring 2017. Only a few photos below, I will add more to the Dropbox for everyone to see.

ASA Ardennes Adventure Weekend - Almost Ready to Go!

And Rest. 

ASA Summer Survival Camps Edition 2016 are done.  What a riot!  


Each week had its own feel and activities that took over - i loved the invention of three-trampoline-volleyball, speed jenga and tug of war on the slip 'n' slide.  And so glad we finished camps with the daring 'drop off the zipwire into the water' crew.

ASA Summer Survival Camps 2016 - Week 1

Wow!  Camp started and Summer started!  A truly great combination.  :-)

It was a week full of firemaking, new food experiments, trips to the lake, rafting and games.

ASA Summer Survival Camps 2016 are here!

Hi everyone, Are you ready to get dirty again?!?


The dates for this year's ASA Summer Survival Camps 2016 are:


July 18 - 22
July 25 - 29
August 1 - 5


Yep, that's right, 5 days a week this time!  Cost is 55euros a day. Drop off between 08h30 and 09h00, pick up between 16h30 and 17h00.


We are also organizing a couple of 'Parent/Child' Adventure weekends in the Ardennes for children 12 - 16 and one of their parents/guardians on the following dates which will include an outdoor bivak sleepover, canyoning, hiking and lots of other stuff.
